Petitions what are they and what do they do?

A petition is a formal request from the public to the Legislative Assembly (OLA) asking the legislature to take a specific action or change a position on a policy. It is one of the best ways for constituents to bring issues they are passionate about to the floor of the Legislative Assembly.

Any petition from constituents of Kingston and the Islands will be presented. Any petitions that are from residents in other ridings will be reviewed and/or presented on a case-by-case basis.
